greetings to all from Mendoza, Argentina.

It is an exceptionally cold winter here and I am bundled up but doing well. I did not receive the letter from Jeff, but only the couple of responses. I am quite confused about the discussion regarding the levels of classes. I had no idea these proposed classes posed such danger to the uninformed and less trained tangueros. I imagine those enrolled or interesed in these classes are going to learn these extreme moves so they can perform on stage for a show or an exhibition for an audience. Wow! I am impressed! I can understand why there is reluctance to change partners. Gee, for me it is still a social dance, and here in Argentina, it still seems to be that as well. The advanced moves here are just putting together pieces with more ease, flexibility, with more use of balance and axis. It still is a social dance and not an achievement! Que paso, amigos. I´ll keep my eye out here to see if things have changed and let you know. If things are the same, maybe rethinking
this paradigm is in order. Have fun...Hasta luego, Beth
