TangoSB 2007 Milonga Workshop

This weekend workshop will focus on Milonga, the lively, upbeat and  
rhythmical member
of the Tango family.

If you have had a little exposure to the basics of Argentine Tango  
(e.g. our Level I class),
you will be able to dance Milonga.

Jorge Nel has been dancing, teaching and performing Argentine Tango  
professionally for
over twenty years and is one of the pioneers of the thriving Tango  
community in Miami,
Florida.

Jorge is particularly known for his lively footwork and playful use  
of rhythm. The
syncopated broken-rhythms known as "Traspié" are his specialty.

All classes will be held at the Carrillo Recreation Center
100 E. Carrillo Street

CLASS SCHEDULE:
		
Fri 30-November	7-9 PM          Milonga I  (suitable for all levels)

Sat 1-December	1-2:30 PM	Milonga II

                 3-4:30 PM       Milonga con Traspié

                 4:30-6 PM	FREE supervised práctica @ UCSB Robertson Gym

1-2 classes $30/per class
All Three Classes (paid in advance) $25/per class.

Private classes w/ Jorge are available Tuesday 11/27 through Sunday  
12/2.

NB: Jorge will give an exhibition Saturday December 1st at "Tango in  
the Ballroom" at the
Carrillo Recreation Center. He will also join us at Café Buenos Aires  
on Wednesday 11/28.
