Hi there SLO tango dance community -- 



Some people have been writing me directly with inquiries

regarding the times and class descriptions for our special

weekend with Christy and Darren. Due to the special Chumash

event on Saturday evening, we are still determining precise

times for all group classes. 



Here's a synopsis of what is likely to take place (all classes

listed will be held at Central Coast Dance Studio in Los Osos):



11am-12pm Saturday

Introduction to Tango:

all beginning levels

special 1-hour class; $20



12-1:30pm Saturday

Follower's Technique:

all levels, both roles

Study details concerning the follower's role in the dance



2:30-4pm Saturday

The Art of Improvisation:

all levels, "fundamentals" experience required

Learn the secrets of fluid & artistic improvisation



4-5:30pm Saturday

Milonga:

beg.-int.

Learn it today, dance it tonight!





11:30am-1pm Sunday

Musicality & Giros:

beg.-int.

Dance effortlessly to different ochestras & with various styles



1-2:30pm Sunday

Colgadas (shared axis turns):

int.-adv.; partnered dancers only

Create opportunities for various challenging yet fun colgadas



3:30-5pm Sunday	Advanced improvisation:

advanced; partnered dancers only

colgadas class strongly recommended

Create high level improvisational steps by combining

enganches, colgadas, & sacadas



90-min. group class fee schedule:



1 class:	$30

2 classes:	$55

3 classes:	$75

4 classes:	$95

5 classes:	$110

all 6 classes:  $120



all 90-minute group classes are 75 minutes of instruction &

15 minutes of practice



private rate per hour:



1 individual:	$80

1-2 couples:	$80 per couple ($40/person)

3+ couples:	$60 per couple ($30/person)
