Salon Los Osos Presents
The Tootsie Roll Milonga
February 23, 8:30 p.m.
Central Coast Dance Studio
2004 10th St.,Los Osos

Come Celebrate the anniversary of the Tootsie Roll.

On February 23rd, 1896, candy maker Leo Hirshfield introduced the
Tootsie Roll.
He named it after his 5 year old daughter, whose nickname was “Tootsie.”
He wanted a chocolate candy that was “delicious and could withstand
the heat,”
a quality we look for in our tango partners.
Tootsie Rolls were included in W.W.II rations because they could
“survive severe conditions,”
another quality we appreciate!

($5.00 donation requested)
