Come Celebrate the anniversary of the  Tootsie Roll.

On February 23rd, 1896, candy maker Leo Hirshfield  introduced the  
Tootsie Roll.
He named it after his 5 year old  daughter, whose nickname was ?Tootsie.?
He wanted a chocolate candy that  was ?delicious and could withstand  
the heat,?
a quality we look  for in our tango partners.
Tootsie Rolls were included in W.W.II rations  because they could  
?survive severe conditions,?
