SLO Tango -- Tonight @ Nexus: A Musical Review 🎶

Hi everyone,

Tonight's classes will involve more practice and review of last week's
material. See below for a refresher:

   - *6:30 - 7:30pm: "Beyond fundamentals" class*. Overturned ochos with
   entradas
   - *7:30 - 8pm: 1-2-3 Tango Level 1: Moving Together*. Finding
   opportunities for rebotes & cadencias within the 8-count basic
   - *8 - 8:30pm: 1-2-3 Tango Level 2: Taking Turns*. Uneven ochos within
   the 8-count basic
   - *8:30 - 9pm: 1-2-3 Tango Level 3: Key Elements*. Ochos with enrosques
   & entradas

Since there won't be as much new technique to learn, we can put more
attention on the music. We'll revisit some of the core concepts from
earlier music-focused classes (beat & melody) and we'll also have more time
to explore some of the other musical aspects that have come up organically,
like instrumentation, phrasing, tempo, etc.

This is also the last Thursday of the month, so it's time for our recurring
chamuyo. Stay after class to enjoy a few casual snacks and tango-related
conversation. This is a good time to ask any questions you might have about
the upcoming workshops this weekend, because...
