SLO Tango -- Thursday @ Nexus: December is milonga month 👣

Hi everyone,

If you're feeling a bit sluggish after all that Thanksgiving dinner, don't
worry: Milonga Month is here to get you moving! We'll be focusing on
milonga for all three weeks of December (no class on 12/25, for obvious
reasons).

At the top of the second class (7:30pm) special guest teacher Linda Beekman
will teach the musicality of milonga. Linda is a lover of milonga and a
wonderful teacher.

   - *6:30 - 7:30pm: Experienced dancers: *Traspié
   - *7:30 - 8:30pm: Progressive fundamentals: *Basic milonga musicality &
   pattern
   - *8:30 - 9:00pm: **Practilonga*

Upcoming events:

   - 🎄* THIS Sat 12/6: *Nexus' holiday party for all dance styles!

   Come sample the potluck and mix & mingle with the other members of Nexus'
   dance community. This event features all dance styles coming together, with
   rotating sets and music requests. Attendance is free, white elephant gift
   optional ($15-25).
   - ❄️* Sun 12/14, 6-10pm: *Buen Día and the Midwinter Milonga join forces
   at the Clubhouse in San Luis Bay Estates (6375 Firehouse Canyon Road).
   Potluck dinner starts at 6:15. Music begins at 7 and will feature a mix of
   traditional, *orquestas actuales, *and some contemporary
   selections, DJed by Henlie. $5 optional donation is appreciated.

   - 💃 *Fri Jan 9-Sun Jan 11: *Mark your calendar now for this weekend of
