SLO Tango -- It was a Happy Holiday Milonga

Hi all!

It was wonderful tosee so many folks at the Holiday/Buen Dia Milonga in Avila this pastSunday!  Thanks to everyone who was there.  Wasn't it great to beback at the San Luis Bay Estates Clubhouse!?  Thanks to Henlie for addingher special touches to this great event!!  And, both Henlie and I aresuper grateful to those who stayed after to help.  A shout out to Hilda,Albert, Rich, Emily, John, Derek and Terry!  Thanks to Susie for providinga ride for Elizabeth!  Of course, Henlie also has her A team for the setup --kudos to Adrian, Derek and Ken.  It takes a village.

 
For the new year Ihave a quick "save the date" announcement for the Buen Dia JanuaryMilonga.  Since we will be dancing the whole weekend with Marcela Duranstarting Friday, January 9 through to Sunday afternoon, I imagine that I am notthe only one who would be too tired for a 3rd milonga on Sunday evening. Luckily, we were able to move the milonga for this month to the thirdSunday.  Let's rest up and dance again on Sunday January 18 from 5pmto 8pm!  We will have DJ Adrian bringing us some great Golden Age tandas!
