SLO Tango -- August Buen Día Milonga coming our way!

 Hi and happy summer!
 Our next Buen Día Milonga will be Sunday August 10!  
 The full moon on August 9 is referred to as theSturgeon Moon(no relation to Henlie )The name Sturgeon Moon comes from thegiant lake sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain; this native freshwaterfish was readily caught during this part of summer and an important food staplefor Native Americans who lived in the region. At one time, the lake sturgeonwas quite abundant in late summer, though they are rarer today.
 I am sharing thisinformation just for fun but also becauseDJ Mary White will be sharing moon related music! There is another great reason to be there evenif you are not in the mood for tango (!?#*!?). This next milonga will be the 12th one in a row so I’mdeclaring an early birthday party!  Feelfree to wear your favorite birthday party attire and, yes, there will becake.  We hope that you will be there at the new,later time of 5pm!
