SLO Tango -- Thursday @ Nexus: Finishing up September + chamuyo 🥂

Hi everyone,

I really enjoyed getting to welcome our out-of-town guests at last week's
post-class milonga! (special thanks to our DJ, Adrian) Alas, we do not have
a milonga this Thursday, but we do have one more week of classes to close
out September's series focusing on embrace & tango posture.

- *6:30 - 7:30pm: Experienced dancers: *Close embrace cross + giro
- *7:30 - 8:30pm: Progressive fundamentals. *Cruzada (cross) --> ochos -->
cadencia w/ sacada
- *8:30 - 9:00pm: Practilonga. *Practice your skills or just enjoy dancing
to a few mini tandas.
- *9:00 - 9:30pm: Chamuyo! *Stay after class to enjoy some refreshments and
chat with your fellow dancers.

Some of you have expressed interest in helping provide snacks/drinks for
the chamuyo. Please feel free to bring anything you like! Just let me know
so I don't clean out Trader Joe's on the way over.

Upcoming events:

   - *🌊 THIS Sat 9/27, 6-9pm: *Val's monthly milonga in Los Osos (2055 9th
   St, Suite C). $7 cover, potluck drinks & food. *Last one* before
   Valentina jets off to Europe...let's give her some great goodbye dances!
   - *👣 Tues 9/30, 7:15-8:45pm: *First evening of a new practica series at
   Studio de Myriam (3563 Sueldo St., Suite N, SLO). $15. Optional exercises,
   and an open floor for practicing.
   - 🚫 *Thurs 10/2: NO CLASS*. Rich and Emily are at Gavito Festival in LA!
   - 👠 *Fri Oct 10 - Sun Oct 12: *Unfortunately due to a family emergency,
   Marcela can no longer join us in October. We're working on rescheduling, so
   stay tuned.
