SLO Tango -- Thursday @ Nexus: Last week before the new schedule! ✨

Hi everyone,

It was great to practice and learn with many of you this past weekend at
Eduardo's workshop & milongas! As always, I feel like his positive energy
will keep me going for at least another month or two.

This Thursday we'll close out the month with topics that build on both what
we've been doing in weekly classes, and on the material from the weekend
workshop:


   - *6:30 - 7:30pm: Experienced dancers class: *Sprinkling fun elements
   into forward ochos (entradas, pasadas, paradas, barridas...)
   - *7:30 - 8:30pm: Fundamentals class: *Exploring vals rhythm with
   fundamental steps.
   - *8:30 - 9:00pm: Practica / chamuyo. *For those who are interested,
   Rich & I would like to chat about some initial insights from Nexus' survey
   and learn more about the goals of dancers in our community (*that means
   you!*) The floor will also be open for practice.

🚨 Please note that I was mistaken in my last email: *NEXT week (Thursday
May 7) will be the first week of the new schedule:*

   - 7:30 - 8:30pm: Differentiated all-levels class. We'll break up the
   class into sections and design transition points with the goal of helping
   everyone work on material that interests and challenges them, at any level.
   - 8:30 - 9:30pm: Mini-milonga. Social dance time in a casual setting.
   Come to practice or just enjoy dancing!

*Upcoming events:*

   - 🌞* Sun May 17, 5-8pm: *Buen Día milonga with guest DJ Mary White.
   Note that this is the *third *Sunday in May, as we decided not to
   schedule on Mothers' Day. $10 cover.
